EuroMillions Winners

Since the initial draw in February 2004, hundreds of EuroMillions jackpot winners have won prizes ranging from €10 million to €220 million. Everyone from single ticket holders to groups of coworkers and family members has won in all nine nations that have participated in the competition.

1: €220 Million

In France, a ticket purchaser won the new record jackpot of €220 million on Friday 15th October, less than a year after the previous record jackpot was won.

After a Superdraw in late September, when the top reward was upped to €130 million, the jackpot reached the maximum in only a few draws. Since December 2020, an online EuroMillions player in the south of France has won France's largest lottery jackpot for the first time.

The winner and the place where the winning ticket was sold have not yet been revealed. The Jackpot Cap has now been raised from 220 million Euros to 230 million Euros by the game's regulations until the next time the limit is reached.

2: €210 Million

On Friday, February 26, a ticket holder from Switzerland won the real maximum top prize in the EuroMillions draw.

The maximum prize has been raised by €10 million to €100 million for all future wins by the game regulations. The victory occurred less than three months after France's last capped jackpot was won.

Aside from buying their ticket online in German-speaking Switzerland, little is known about the winner. The fortunate winner paid CHF 7.00 for two tickets. The new record jackpot winner walked away with more than 32.8 million times their bet.

3: €200 Million

It was the highest EuroMillions jackpot ever won, with a French ticket holder scooping the €200 million prize on Friday, December 11.

For six following drawings after November's €130 million jackpot was first won on November 20, the jackpot continued to roll over until a ticket holder in France ultimately hit the jackpot by matching all of the numbers in the winning combination.

There has never been a prize larger than €190 million in the game's entire existence. This means the new jackpot maximum for the next time the limit is reached is €210 million.

4: €190 Million

One UK ticket holder won the joint-biggest EuroMillions jackpot of all time. The most significant lottery reward ever won in the UK during one of the most spectacular moments in EuroMillions history.

Since then, the jackpot has rolled over 18 times, reaching a maximum of €190 million (the ceiling at the time) on September 24, 2019. On Tuesday, October 8, a 'Must Be Won' draw, in which all of the prize money was guaranteed to be handed away, took place, and one player matched all of the numbers in that draw to win the whole jackpot.

Following their claim a few days after the draw, it was reported that the participant had chosen to remain anonymous; hence no more information was disclosed about their identity.

5: €190 Million

As of August 10, 2012, the Bayfords had won a staggering €190 million jackpot in a EuroMillions draw that was the second-largest lottery win in British history at the time. They purchased their winning Lucky Dip ticket at a Premier Convenience Store on Queen Street, Haverhill, Suffolk while living in Suffolk. After 14 consecutive rollovers, they won the jackpot's maximum nine-figure sum.

As soon as Adrian and Gillian walked through the door of their new multi-million dollar residences and luxury automobiles, they immediately began to enjoy their newfound money by taking helicopter rides, splurging on a private jet, and swiping their credit cards. However, barely 15 months after their huge triumph, the couple who had been married for nine years and had two children together split.

6: €190 Million

In Portugal, a EuroMillions winner elected to stay anonymous after securing a €190 million fortune on October 24, 2014. Following a EuroMillions Superdraw, the jackpot ceiling was achieved after five consecutive rollovers three weeks earlier. The fortunate winner became the lottery's joint-largest winner as well as the 53rd winner in Portugal.

Sobedis Tabacaria, a little kiosk in the Alegro Shopping Centre run by Graça Nunes at the mystery winner's purchase, sold the winning ticket. Lottery ticket sales increased after the announcement that an anonymous winner had won the EuroMillions jackpot for the first time in the shop's 15 years of operation.

7: €190 Million

For the third time in EuroMillions history, a record-setting €190 million jackpot was won. On Friday, September 15, 2017, a EuroMillions Superdraw was conducted, which rolled over for five draws until the jackpot ceiling was met on October 3, 2017. A single ticket holder from Spain won a staggering nine-figure sum in the subsequent drawing.

The winner purchased their ticket in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, and validated it at El Mirador's retail mall. It's not clear whether the fortunate ticket buyer was a native Spanish citizen or a British visitor visiting the region on vacation. In June 2014, they were the 83rd jackpot winner from Spain, substantially exceeding its previous most significant jackpot victory of €137 million.

8: €187 Million

The jackpot for the €100 million EuroMillions Superdraw was not won on Friday, June 7, 2013; hence it rolled over for five additional drawings, totaling €187 million. On June 25, 2013, two tickets from Ireland and Belgium won a nine-figure jackpot after successfully matching all seven numbers. The €93 million jackpot was shared evenly between them, each earning a share of the prize. It's the largest EuroMillions prize ever split. Both victors opted to remain nameless to keep their identities a secret.

9: €185 Million

In a press announcement at the Macdonald Inchyra Hotel and Spa in Polmont, near Falkirk, Chris and Colin Weir announced they had won €185 million in the draw on Tuesday, July 12, 2011. In their hometown of Largs, Ayshire, they bought the winning ticket at a McColls convenience shop. Sunday Times Rich List 430th position, after their triumph, according to reports.

Retired cinematographer Colin and former mental nurse Chris were happy to use their newfound money to help others. In addition to establishing philanthropic trusts, Largs Thistle Football Club's field was refurbished, and the National Theatre of Scotland received a donation of $1 million.

For more than eight years, the Weirs' prize was the largest ever won in the United Kingdom because of a favorable exchange rate. Although the Bayfords' €190 million awards were worth more euros, it was valued at nearly £10 million less in sterling, at £148 million.

10: €183 Million

After a €183 million jackpot was shared between two French winners and one from Portugal on Friday, February 3, 2006, each winner received €61 million. The prize has rolled over for the 11th time in a row, boosting ticket sales in several participating nations. One of the winning French tickets was purchased in Paris' 10th district, near Gare du Nord, where the Portuguese player bought their ticket.
