A retired figure skating coach is warming up to a $675,000 lottery win. Lynne Howard, of Elliot Lake, opted for a lump sum after winning $1,000 a week playing Game 1179 of Ontario Lottery and Gaming’s Instant Cash for Life.

The 63-year-old mother of one plays scratch tickets, but Instant Cash for Life “is my go-to,” she said in a release.

She received the ticket, purchased at MacEwen on Main Street in Wellington, as a Mother’s Day gift.

Howard plans to buy a new boat with her winnings. She calls her win “uplifting and life-changing.”
