No jackpot yet – but $1 million Powerball ticket sold in New Jersey

A winning Powerball lottery ticket worth $1 million was sold in Jersey as the jackpot swelled to almost $2 billion.

The winning Scratch-Off ticket was sold at Quick Stop on Inman Avenue in Edison. The ticket distributor will get a bonus of $10,000 for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket. 

Kavita Patel, the store manager hopes the good luck keeps on coming. The Quick Stop regular shoppers hope Monday night's drawing will be their turn.

The $1 million winning ticket had five matching numbers.

Powerball is an American lottery game offered by 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
