$150,000 in Massachusetts Lottery Prizes Still Unclaimed — Deadlines Near

Two Massachusetts Lottery prizes worth a combined $150,000 are still unclaimed — and time is running out.

⏰ Two prizes nearing expiration

• $100,000 Mass Cash prize: The winning ticket was purchased at TSquare Food Shop in Holbrook. The Aug. 29, 2025, winning numbers were 5-6-8-21-29. The deadline to claim the prize is August 31, 2026.
• $50,000 Powerball prize: This ticket was sold at Centre Liquor in Jamaica Plain for the Aug. 27, 2025, drawing. The winning numbers were 9-12-22-41-61, with Powerball 25. The prize expires August 28, 2026.

Winners with prizes of up to $103,000 can claim their money at Lottery claim centers in Braintree, Dorchester, Lawrence, New Bedford, West Springfield and Worcester.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission, any prizes that go unclaimed after the deadline become part of the Lottery’s net profit, which is returned to the Commonwealth for distribution among all 351 cities and towns.

Mass Cash drawings are held twice daily, every day, with tickets costing $1. Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, with tickets priced at $2.

If you bought a ticket in Massachusetts last August, it may be worth checking your old tickets — $150,000 is still waiting to be claimed.
