A ticket purchased in the Saanich North region of Greater Victoria has won the $55 million Lotto Max jackpot, according to a press release from the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC).

The winning ticket was the only one in the Feb. 28 draw to match all seven numbers: 1, 3, 8, 24, 35, 42, and 43.

The odds of winning a Lotto Max jackpot are 1 in 33,294,800 per $5 play.

The winner has 52 weeks from the draw date to claim their prize. BCLC has not yet disclosed the specific retail location where the winning ticket was purchased or the name of the winner.
