A $1 million lottery ticket claimed in Massachusetts

Now only a two million dollar lottery ticket remains to be claimed

A $1 million lottery prize was claimed on July 3, leaving just two $1 million prizes remaining to be claimed in a word search-style scratch ticket game, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.

The scratch ticket game, called “$5,000,000 100X Cashword,” was released on Nov. 24, 2021, and began with 10 prizes worth $1 million available to be claimed.

It also began with two $5 million grand prizes; only one has been claimed as of July 3.

The $1 million prize claimed on Monday was sold from a liquor store in Millbury called Millbury Liquors. R

There was also a $100,000 prize claimed on Monday from a scratch ticket game called “300X.”

The winning ticket was sold from a 7-Eleven store in Billerica. Overall, there were at least 990 lottery prizes worth $600 or more won or claimed in Massachusetts on Monday, including 17 in Springfield and 41 in Worcester.
