A fortunate Mount Pleasant guy scoops a big jackpot recently in a lottery game

It's a birthday present many of us dream about: $1 million! Don Goulding Sr., of Mammoth, Westmoreland County, was presented with a big check on Wednesday.

The Pennsylvania Lottery says a Match 6 Lotto ticket for the July 13 drawing matched all six numbers, 4-10-11-19-20-45, to win the jackpot prize of $1.06 million.

The ticket was sold at S & S Corner Market on Apollo Road in Mount Pleasant. Goulding says he bought the ticket right before his birthday. “I looked that night eight times," he said.

"My friend was coming up the steps and I say, ‘See if I'm hallucinating.’ He says, ‘No, you got the numbers!’ Then, I couldn't sleep the night, I don't know why,” Goulding said, with a laugh.

He says this money will help him fully retire and he plans to go fishing more.
