A lucky pick-6 lottery player wins $25.8 million recently from N.J. Convenience store

A massive Pick-6 lottery ticket worth $25.8 million the fourth largest in the game’s history was bought at a convenience store in Ocean County.

The lucky ticket was bought at QuickChek on Route 88 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey Lottery officials said. Monday’s winning numbers were 10, 12, 21, 30, 38, and 45.

No one had bought a jackpot winning ticket for the twice-weekly drawing since Feb. 16 when lottery player who bought a ticket at Soda King in Manalapan hit a $7.3 million jackpot.

Since then 50 drawings had been held without a top prize winner. The prize passes the $24,250,000 Pick-6 jackpot won on June 4, 2009, according to the New Jersey Lottery.

The jackpot for the next drawing Thursday has rolled back to $2 million with a cash option of $968,000. Pick-6 tickets cost $2 each.

The odds of a $2 ticket matching all six numbers are 9,366,819 to 1. There are 46 numbers in the Pick-6 matrix.
