A small, close-knit community in Woodhull, Illinois has been swept by a sense of anticipation with the local sale of a whopping $3 million Instant lotto ticket.

The fortunate "200X Payout" Instant lottery ticket was sold at a local BP gas station, according to a NBC Chicago report.

Jennifer Damer, manager of said BP store, voiced her surprise in a statement, saying, "It’s quite surprising that our BP station sold a ticket that won a grand prize."

The station is a regular stop for residents including nearby farmers and hailing is the occasional truck driver as quoted by Fox 32 Chicago.

With a modest population of 811, says the 2010 U.S. Census, Woodhull residents are buzzing with curiosity over the winner's identity.

Damer revealed that "there's been much talk about the $3 million winning lottery ticket," and the town is abuzz with speculations of the lucky individual's identity.
