A fortunate British man wins £170 million recently in euromillions lottery
A British man has made history after scooping up a record-breaking £170 million EuroMillions jackpot.
The lucky winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, is the biggest ever winner of the EuroMillions lottery in the UK. The winning numbers were 7, 10, 15, 44, 49 and the two Lucky Star numbers were 3 and 12.
The National Lottery confirmed the winner was the only ticket holder to match all five main numbers and both Lucky Star numbers.
The winner will now become the second biggest ever lottery winner in the UK, behind Colin and Chris Weir's £161 million EuroMillions jackpot win in 2011.
The EuroMillions jackpot has been rolling over since early December and the winner is now £170million richer.
The winner, who bought their ticket from an unnamed retailer in England, will now be able to enjoy a life-changing sum of money.
The National Lottery said in a statement: "We are delighted that the incredible £170 million EuroMillions jackpot has been won in the UK".
