A family from Ireland has won the €175 million EuroMillions jackpot, the biggest lottery prize ever won in Ireland.
The family, who have chosen to remain anonymous, purchased the winning ticket in the Dublin area. The family, who were shocked and overwhelmed by their win, says they plan to help others and invest in their community.
They also plan to take some time off and travel the world. The family expressed gratitude for their good fortune and said they plan to use it wisely.
The winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money and if not claimed then it will be donated to a charity, lottery officials said.
