A lucky Cumberland County man wins a big jackpot recently worth of $3 million

A Pennsylvania Lottery ticket worth $3 million was sold in Cumberland County, according to lottery officials.

The Diamonds and Gold scratch-off ticket was sold at Giant, 950 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle.

The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Diamonds and Gold is a $30 game that offers top prizes of $3 million, the lottery said.

Scratch-off ticket prizes expire one year from the game’s end-sale date posted at the lottery’s website.

Lottery officials said winners should sign the back of their ticket and call the lottery at 800-692-7481.

All lottery prizes more than $5,000 are subject to applicable withholding. Pennsylvania Lottery ticket proceeds support programs for older residents.
