A £1.2 million prize awaits a lucky winner in the New Year's Eve draw but they don't even know it yet.

One lucky Lotto winner has won over £1.2 million in the New Year's Eve draw but they don't even know it yet. Nobody has yet come forward to gain the huge National Lottery prize of £1,221,799

The lucky winner won their huge sum on New Year's Eve and is set to take home an exact total of £1,221,799.

The National Lottery, run by Camelot since 1994, have not yet received a claim for the ticket and now officials at the organisation are looking for people to come forward.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said: "Have you got an unchecked Lotto ticket?

The winning numbers are 27, 34, 47, 56, 57 and 58 and the bonus ball was 19.

Around £1.3 billion was won among 375 new millionaires last year, and Carter said it was an "astonishing year" for lottery winners.
