A fortunate player purchased a big winning Maryland Lottery Bonus Match 5 ticket worth of $50,000, securing the top prize in the drawing held on Tuesday.

The big winning lottery ticket was sold out at Fenton Citgo in downtown Silver Spring and matched the numbers 8, 21, 23, 32, and 36, with the Bonus Ball being 6.

Lottery officials advise the winner to sign the back of the ticket and store it securely, as the player has 182 days to claim the prize.

This marks the sixth top-prize-winning Bonus Match 5 ticket sold in 2024 by the Maryland Lottery, according to a press release.

For selling the top-prize winning ticket in the game, Fenton Citgo will receive a $500 bonus from the Maryland Lottery.
