A lucky guy from Pasadena grabs a big jackpot in Texas lottery game worth of $1 million

A Pasadena resident has anonymously claimed a prize-winning ticket worth $1 million after playing the Texas Lottery scratch ticket game Million Dollar Loteria.

Purchased at the Food Mart at Fairmont Parkway in La Porte, the ticket provided the 10th of 12 prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in Million Dollar Loteria, which offers over $381 million in total prizes, according to a press release from the Texas Lottery.

Rita Partita, an employee at the Food Mart, estimated she sells between 50 and 60 lottery tickets every day.

The lottery officials announced that the winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming his winning prize money.

And the retailer who sold out the winning lottery ticket will also get a bonus for the same, said lottery officials.
