A Pennsylvania trust won life changing $516,000,000 Mega Millions lottery prize

A group of Pennsylvanian won $516,000,000 Mega Millions lottery jackpot

The massive jackpot winners have chosen to form a Trust to claim the cash prize as a one time lump sum payment. 

The trust is named as "The Peace of Mind Trust", a group of five members decided to receive the one time payment of $384,600,000 before federal and State taxes. The Lucky trust took home $254,233,980 after the federal and state tax. 

Kurt Penous the lawyer and Christopher Mahony said in a joint statement submitted to the Pennsylvania lottery that, "This is life changing generations of money. Winners live in a small community in Eastern Pennsylvania and wants to maintain their normal life as much as possible. Maintaining the anonymity is their normality. The jackpot ticket was a quick pick."

This is the third largest Mega Millions jackpot since Pennsylvania joined the lottery Game in 2010. Moreover this is the 9th largest Mega Millions jackpot won since the game started in 2002.

"The Pennsylvania lottery celebrates the historic jackpot." Said Drews Victo, executive director of Pennsylvania lottery. 

The recent Mega Millions jackpot run from Friday 19 February and ended Friday 21 May, which generated $41.5 Millions in sales and $16.6 millions profits for elderly pennsylvanians. 

The chance ofb winning Mega Millions lottery jackpot is about 1 in 302 million.
