A fortunate armstrong county guy scoops a big jackpot recently in scratch off lottery game

Officials from the Pennsylvania Lottery presented a commemorative check to Karen Coffman, the winner of a $1 million Scratch-Off ticket, at the BP gas station where the winning ticket was sold.

Coffman, 61, of Armstrong County, won the top prize on a $1,000,000 Game Scratch-Off ticket purchased at BP (Radhe Oil Corporation) located at 222 Buffalo St.

The retailer received a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Coffman described her win as bittersweet, revealing that her husband, who passed away from a brain tumor two weeks after her win, had always believed she would hit a million-dollar jackpot.

She recalled the moment of disbelief and excitement when she realized she had won, sharing her joy with the store clerk.
