A scratch off lottery player from Charles county scoops a big jackpot recently

A dinner out on town turned into a $50,000 lottery windfall for a Charles County resident. Last weekend, during a visit to Bubba’s Place in Newburg, a frequent scratch-off player purchased a 20X The Cash instant ticket that yielded the game’s top prize.

Upon taking the scratch-off games home, the Southern Marylander employed his usual method of first revealing the numbers before the potential prize beneath.

Although initially none of the numbers were a match, he uncovered a 10X symbol concealing a $5,000 prize, multiplying to a total of $50,000.

The winner expressed his disbelief at the win, recounting his reaction: “I just stared at the ticket, thinking, ‘This can’t be right.’ I had to go and show my wife.”

The couple, equally astonished and elated, visited the Lottery headquarters in Baltimore this week to claim their prize.
