A lucky black hawk county guy wins $25,000 per year for his whole life

Someone who bought a lottery ticket at a convenience store in Black Hawk County won a prize of $25,000 a year for life Sunday in the Lucky for Life game.

The big win comes about a month after a Davenport man claimed that same prize from one of the game’s drawings in June.

The Black Hawk County ticket matched the first five numbers but missed the Lucky Ball in Sunday’s Lucky for Life drawing to win the game’s second prize of $25,000 a year for life.

The winning ticket was purchased at Git N Go Convenience Store, 124 Wood St. in Hudson.

It is Iowa’s 15th big win in the game since its January 2016 debut in our state. It is also the second big win in the game this summer.
