A woman scratch off lottery player from Anderson County scoops a big jackpot recently

A woman in Anderson got a big shock when she scratched her way to a $200,000 lottery win. “I couldn’t believe it,” the winner told South Carolina Education Lottery officials.

“It’s a miracle.” The woman bought the winning $5 High Roller scratch-off ticket at the Quick Point on Whitehall Road in Anderson.

She told lottery officials that she sat down in her recliner with the ticket, slid over a tray table, and scratched the ticket to reveal the six-figure jackpot.

When asked what she would do with the money, the winner confessed that she was “not a big spender.”

This is the third time in a month that someone has won at least $100,000 playing the lottery in Anderson County. There are still two top prizes remaining in the High Roller game.
