An Allegheny County man is celebrating after striking it rich with a lucky lottery ticket.

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, won a staggering sum of $1,000,000 with a Pennsylvania Lottery Instant Ticket.

He purchased the winning ticket from the Sunoco Gas Station located on the corner of Grant Street and Desoto Street in Pittsburgh.

The man said that he was in disbelief when he checked his ticket and saw that he had won the top prize.

He plans to use his winnings to pay off some bills, invest in his business, and travel.

The Pennsylvania Lottery also congratulated the man on his big win. This is the ninth top prize-winning ticket sold in the area in the past year.

The winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money, lottery officials said.
