Alpena County man wins $1 million recently in a lottery game

Alpena County resident, John Doe, is now a millionaire after winning the $1 million jackpot in the state lottery.

Doe purchased his winning ticket at a local gas station and claimed his prize at the Michigan Lottery headquarters.

"I couldn't believe it when I saw the numbers match up," said Doe. "It's still sinking in that I'm now a millionaire." Doe, who works as a construction worker, plans to use his winnings to pay off his debts, buy a new car, and take a vacation with his family.

"Winning the lottery is life-changing," said Michigan Lottery spokesperson, Jake Harris. "We're thrilled for Mr. Doe and hope this prize brings him and his family much happiness."

The Michigan Lottery encourages all winners to seek financial guidance before making any major decisions with their winnings.
