A fortunate resident of Kent County, West Michigan, is celebrating a life-changing moment after discovering that he possesses a winning lottery ticket worth a staggering $4 million.

Choosing to remain anonymous, the 54-year-old winner shared his story with the Michigan Lottery.

The fortunate ticket was purchased at the Citgo gas station on 3895 Plainfield Avenue Northeast in Grand Rapids, as revealed by the Michigan Lottery.

His unexpected fortune began with a $50 win on an instant game, prompting him to reinvest his winnings.
