An Arkansas woman came dangerously close to tossing out a life-changing lottery ticket — and almost missed a $50,000 win.

She admits she only plays a couple of times a month and usually keeps the losing tickets for the Play It Again second-chance drawings. This time, though, something told her to go back and scan the stack she had sitting around.

? That’s when the shock hit: one of those “losers” was anything but.
“Did I just freaking win $50,000?” she recalled thinking after scanning the $20 $50,000 Frenzy scratch-off.

Even wilder? Those tickets had been sitting in her car since January — maybe February. “By grace it didn’t end up in the garbage!” she laughed when claiming her prize.

For her, this is the biggest lottery win yet, and she’s clear about her plans: she’s going to enjoy it and have some fun.
