B.C Lotto winner told wife of his $500,000 win, she didn't believe him

BC Lotto player plans to travel the world after winning $500,000 in Lotto Max extra draw

A BC Lotto player wins big lottery prize earlier this month on April Fool's day but his wife didn't believe him when he told about his win.

Gordon Fisher, of Surrey, won $500,000 prize from the Lotto Max extra draw. 

"I won on April Fool's Day, and I whispered to my wife that we won haf a million dollar," he said in a statement released by the BC Lottery Corporation. He says his wife did not believe him.

Fisher purchased his life changing winning ticket from the Semiahmoo Shopping Centre. Though he checked his ticket while at home, he went back to the lottery kiosk to have the winning numbers printed. 

"I feel extremely thankful," tge Surrey lottery winner said.

Fisher says he is a regular lottery player and playing the lottery for years. He wants to roam around the world with his wife after collecting the windfall.
