In the Bay City region, a fortunate individual struck gold with a Michigan Lottery ticket they bought on Tuesday.

The ticket, bought at Jack's Fruit and Meat Market on 1000 Salzburg Ave, clinched a $1 million jackpot in the Cash Is King/Queen instant game.

As of now, the winner hasn't stepped forward to claim their prize, but they have a year to do so at the Michigan Lottery headquarters in Lansing.

In line with Michigan law, winners in the Cash Is King/Queen game can opt to stay anonymous.

This win marks the initial of three top prizes available in the Cash Is King/Queen instant game.
