BC Lotto Max Winner Says He's Feeling 'Big Relief' & Wants To Head Back To Florida

A lucky man from British Columbia named Richard Prest won a whopping sum of $500,000 from the Extra on his Lotto Max ticket.

The winning Scratch-Off ticket was sold at Safeway on Broadway and Macdonald in Vancouver. The ticket distributor will get a bonus of $5000 for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

Prest plans to spend Christmas with his brother and his kids in Winnipeg, and wants to return to Florida, after living there for 25 years.

Seven numbers are selected from a field of 50 numbers, along with a bonus number.

A single line of seven numbers costs $5, and each purchased line also includes two additional lines of quick picks. If a ticket matches all seven numbers on the main draw, the jackpot prize of at least CA$10 million is won.
