Butler County Sees Another Million-Dollar Lottery Winner

A Pennsylvania Lottery player in Butler County just hit it big — scoring a massive $1 million win from a scratch-off ticket in Evans City.

The lucky ticket came from Uni Express on East Main Street, which sold the “Win Win Win” scratch-off — a $10 game with a top prize of $1 million. As a bonus for selling the winning ticket, the store is set to receive a $5,000 retailer reward.

This isn’t an isolated hot streak for the area either. Butler County has already seen multiple major lottery wins in 2026, including a jaw-dropping $4 million Mega Millions ticket sold just days into the year in Cranberry Township. That ticket matched five white balls (6-13-34-43-52) but missed the Mega Ball. The retailer behind that sale, Gordon’s Mini Mart on Rochester Road, earned a $10,000 bonus.

Lottery officials remind players that scratch-off prizes expire one year from the purchase date, and winners should immediately sign the back of their ticket and contact the lottery.

Each ticket is randomly distributed, meaning neither retailers nor the lottery know where the big winners land until someone scratches it off — making every play a real surprise shot at life-changing cash.
