Cape Breton residents win grand prizes in QEII Home Lottery

A lucky Cape Breton resident named Robert Harvey Morash won a whopping sum of $1 million playing QEII Home Lottery. 

The winning ticket was sold at a local convenience store in Cape Breton. The ticket distributor will get a bonus of $10,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

Morash and his wife Ann started buying QEII lottery tickets about 10 years ago as a way of giving back to the healthcare system.

The winner claimed the grand prize of a new $1-million lakefront home and property along with $50,000 in cash.

The QEII Home Lottery happens twice a year, in the spring and fall.
