Dog gets a credit for making the man $2 million lottery owner, he is now $2 million times richer than before because of his dog. 

42-year-old Leonard Linton of Pinetta claimed a $2 million top prize from the 100X THE CASH scratch-off game. 

Linton got a call that Ivy his dog wasn't feeling well. He says he took a different route home in order to get to her more quickly, but needed to make a pit stop.

When he stopped at a retail store he also made a purchase of $10 lottery ticket, which turned to be a winning lottery ticket worth $2 million. 

 "I still can't believe it. This is life-changing, but I'm definitely getting Ivy a new kennel!" He said. 

The man opted for a lum sum amount of $1,645,000.

The store will receive a bonus of $4,000 for selling the million dollar ticket.
