Lucky Philadelphia man wins a big jackpot worth of $5 million recently

Residents of Philadelphia have been celebrating after one of their own won a $5 million lottery jackpot.

The lucky winner, who has chosen to remain anonymous, matched all five numbers plus the Powerball number in the Pennsylvania Lottery's Powerball drawing on last night.

The winning numbers were 4, 8, 18, 22, and 27, with a Powerball of 2. The $5 million jackpot is the fourth-largest Powerball prize won in the state of Pennsylvania, and the lucky winner is already looking forward to spending their windfall.

"This is an incredible moment for the winner and for everyone in the state," said Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko. "We hope the prize will bring some much-needed good news to Pennsylvania."

This is not the first big lottery win in Pennsylvania this year. In January, a Philadelphia resident won a $1 million prize in the Powerball drawing.
