Ohio Lottery's Black Titanium Game Still Has Three Top Prizes Left

A woman from Huber Heights, Ohio, is celebrating a major lottery win after hitting a $1 million prize on an Ohio Lottery scratch-off ticket.

Kimberlin Sawyer purchased four Black Titanium Scratch-Off tickets at Meijer on Executive Boulevard. One of them turned out to be a winner, offering her $40,000 a year for 25 years.

When Sawyer called her husband to share the exciting news, she couldn't even use the secret code phrase they had agreed on for a lottery win. Instead, she blurted out, "I just scratched a million dollars!"

Sawyer chose the lump-sum payment rather than receiving annual installments. After state and federal taxes, she will take home just over $366,600.

More chances to win remain: As of Friday, the Ohio Lottery reported that three top prizes were still available in the Black Titanium Scratch-Off game, each worth $40,000 annually for 25 years.
