Lucky Hamden Store customer wins a big jackpot in CT lottery

A North Haven man won $10,277 playing the CT Lottery. Ramon De Jesus Alejandro Herasme Carvajal won playing LOTTO.

He purchased the lucky ticket Monday at the Alltown Fresh in Hamden. The CT Lottery furnishes winner information as public record.

The next LOTTO! drawing is Tuesday and the jackpot is $2.1 million, according to CT Lottery.

The retailer who sold out the winning lottery ticket will also get a bonus for selling it, officials said.

They also announced that the winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money and if not claimed then it will be donated to a charity.

The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money.
