Two lucky Maryland Powerball players are celebrating substantial wins as the jackpot swells to a staggering $1.04 billion.

While no one claimed the jackpot, one player from Rosedale and another from Snow Hill matched five out of six numbers to secure $1 million each.

These wins mark the largest Maryland Lottery victories of the week, with neither player having claimed their prizes as of October 2. The Rosedale win occurred in the September 30 drawing, while the Snow Hill win was drawn on September 27.

Additionally, a third Powerball ticket sold in Elkton matched four numbers plus the Powerball in the September 27 drawing, securing a $50,000 win.
