Two $100K Lottery Wins Spark Excitement Across Massachusetts

Big wins rolled through Massachusetts this week, with one lucky ticket in Western Mass snagging a $100,000 prize in Wednesday’s “Mass Cash” drawing. The winning numbers were 7, 13, 21, 27, and 28, and the golden ticket was sold at Emporium Newsstand in East Longmeadow.

But that’s not the only six-figure payday. Another player grabbed $100,000 from a winning “Millions” ticket purchased at Skelley’s State Line in Haverhill.

Massachusetts players weren’t shy about cashing in overall. On Wednesday alone:

  • 484 prizes worth $600 or more were claimed.

  • That included 11 in Springfield, 14 in Worcester, and 35 in Boston.

For perspective, the biggest prize of the year so far was claimed in July — a “Lifetime Millions” scratch ticket sold in Springfield that pays out $1 million a year for life.
