$200K Scratch Ticket Win Adds to Store’s Million-Dollar Lottery Run

A lucky lottery player in Massachusetts just scored a $200,000 win from a scratch ticket bought at a Dorchester grocery store — and here’s the wild part: the same store sold a $10 million winning ticket just one week earlier.

The winning ticket came from the “$15,000,000 Magnificent Millions” scratch game, a $30 ticket that launched in March 2026. The game still has some huge prizes waiting to be claimed, including:

  • 3 top prizes worth $15 million
  • 8 prizes worth $1 million
  • 84 remaining prizes worth $200,000

So far, only six of the game’s 90 available $200,000 prizes have been claimed.

The lucky ticket was sold at a Stop & Shop on Freeport Street in Dorchester, which is quickly becoming one of the hottest lottery spots in the state. Just days earlier, another player claimed a massive $10 million prize from a different scratch game purchased at the same location.

Friday turned into a big payout day across Massachusetts overall. Lottery officials reported that 576 prizes worth $600 or more were either won or claimed statewide. That included:

  • 67 winners in Boston
  • 20 winners in Springfield
  • 15 winners in Worcester

The Massachusetts State Lottery publishes a daily list of prizes over $600, giving players a glimpse at where the latest big wins are happening.

Meanwhile, the biggest lottery prize claimed in Massachusetts this year remains a jaw-dropping $25 million win from a “$25,000,000 Mega Money” scratch ticket sold at a Cumberland Farms in Turners Falls.
