Mega win! $4 million Mega Millions winning ticket was sold in Odessa

Mega Millions winning ticket worth $4 million was sold in Odessa for Tuesday night's drawing. This was the luckiest ticket purchased with Megaplier option. 

The multi-million dollar winning ticket was sold at the Spanish Shield West Liquor in the 4700 block of West University Boulevard in Odessa. 

The seven figure winning ticket was just one number away from getting the life changing jackpot $347 million. 

The prize would actually worth $1 million without the Megaplier option. Since it was purchased with the Megaplier feature which multiplies the prize to $4 million. 

The winning numbers for January 18 Mega Millions drawing were 04, 19, 39, 42 and 52. The Gold megaball number was 09 with the Megaplier of 4X.

In addition to this, two other winning tickets with the Megaplier option were sold in North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
