Mum wins $3 million after accidentally buying Oz Lotto ticket: 'Unbelievable'

A lucky woman from Mid North Coast won a whopping sum of $3 million playing Oz Lotto drawing on Tuesday. 

The winning ticket was sold at CTC Taree, Shop 15 on Manning St. The ticket distributor will get a bonus of $30,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

“It’s unbelievable. It’s an extraordinary amount of money,” she said.

The woman explained she was getting her ‘usual ticket’ the other day and accidentally purchased a ticket for Tuesday night’s draw instead of Wednesday’s.

The winner plans to renovate her house with the winning amount and save the rest for her family.

Oz Lotto is a national lottery game, owned by Tatts Group and administered by its lottery brand 'the Lott' in all Australian States with the exception of Western Australia, where the lottery is administered by Lotterywest.

The draw takes place every Tuesday at approximately 8.30pm AEST.
