Woman ‘shocked’ to win $50K Powerball prize in Fenton

A lucky woman from Missouri won a whopping sum of $50,000 playing Powerball lottery game and plans to use the money to buy Christmas presents for her children.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Circle K on Brookwood Center in Fenton. The ticket distributor will get a bonus of $500 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

The winning numbers were: 1-2-31-39-66, and 25 being the Powerball number. The winning ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers, plus the red Powerball. 

Powerball is an American lottery game offered by 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evening at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time, at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
