Carmela Pacenza, a resident of Stoney Creek, Ontario, won big on the lottery after purchasing an Instant Bigger Spin ticket with part of her $30 winnings from a previous ticket.

After the clerk informed her that she had won a minimum prize of $500,000, Pacenza was left in shock and disbelief.

She later went to the OLG Prize Centre in downtown Toronto, where she had the chance to spin the massive Bigger Spin Wheel and celebrate with her family after landing on $500,000.

Pacenza plans to put her newfound wealth towards investments for a comfortable retirement and a family trip to celebrate together. She describes the feeling of having an extra half a million dollars as a "wash of calm" and a "bag of money." 

Her winning ticket was purchased at Fortinos on Upper Centennial Parkway in Stoney Creek.
