A Myrtle Beach man with a great luck won big lottery prizes over the course of two weeks, collecting a $40,000 and then a $3 MILLION prize.

The man got lucky for both the wins on Mega Millions lottery tickets that were Quick pick purchased from the Murphy USA #7752 on Kings Rd. in Myrtle Beach. 

The winner said to the officials that after shopping at a nearby Walmart, he drops by the store to fill up his car and decided to play the lottery. He felt so lucky after winning $40,000 from July 16 drawing that he got an extra Mega Millions ticket for the July 27 drawing. And he won $3 million from the later.

"I couldn't believe it" the winner said after he realized that he was a millionaire. 

"My family was shocked when I broke the news. "

It was unbelievable for him and  his family members. The odds of winning $40,000 from Mega Millions are 1 in 931,001 and the odds of winning $3 million is about one in 13 million.

The Myrtle Beach Store received $30,000 commission for selling the winning ticket.
