The prize consists of $20,000 paid monthly for the next 20 years.

A Narre Warren woman is now laying the groundwork for the next chapter of her life starting with acquiring a brand-new abode after taking home $20,000 a month for the next 20 years in Set for Life.

The Melburnian held the only division one winning entry nationally in Set for Life draw 3056, drawn Monday 18 December 2023.

She takes home a total division one prize of $4.8 million, paid in monthly installments of $20,000 a month for the next 20 years.

The winning woman revealed she had dedicated the past 24 hours to daydreaming about the transformative possibilities the Division One prize could bring into her life for the next two decades.

“It’s so very exciting,” she told an official from The Lott earlier this morning.

“I can’t believe this has happened to me.

“I was having a tough week and have been feeling under the weather, so this is a wonderful surprise. I’ll have to leave the celebrations until I feel better.

“I always read about the Set for Life division one winners receiving their $20,000 on the 15th of every month and how great it would be to win.

“I’ve lived in my house for more than three decades and I’ve thought about packing up and moving into a new house – now it’s possible!

“It’s time to buy a new house and change it up a bit.

“I’ll also have to do some post-Christmas shopping when I feel better. Woo-hoo! Happy New Year to me!

“Cool bananas! Thank you so much.”
