North Carolina Lottery retailers can pay prizes of up to $599. For prizes worth more than $599, winners can submit their tickets by mail or visit a North Carolina Lottery office in person.

For mail claims, winners need to send:

• A completed prize claim form
• The signed winning ticket
• A copy of a government-issued photo ID
• A copy of their Social Security card

Claims worth less than $600 do not require copies of an ID or Social Security card.

For in-person claims, sign the back of your ticket and bring the completed claim form, signed ticket, government-issued photo ID and Social Security card.
