A lucky Okaloosa County woman wins a big jackpot worth of $2 million recently

An Okaloosa County woman won over $2,000,000 on a Florida Lottery scratch-off ticket.

Florida Lottery on Friday announced Gloria Johnson, of Shalimar, as the big winner. She hit big on the $2,500 A WEEK FOR LIFE Scratch-Off game.

She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $2,330,000.

Johnson purchased her winning ticket from the Raceway located on North Eglin Parkway in Shalimar.

The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

Players can win big for just $5 playing the $2,500 A WEEK FOR LIFE Scratch-Off game.

The winner has 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money and if not claimed then it will be donated to a charity.
