A lucky shoprite guy from N.J wins a big jackpot worth of $7.1 million recently

A lucky New Jersey Lottery player who bought a Pick 6 ticket for Thursday’s drawing at a supermarket in Burlington County won the $7.1 million jackpot.

The winning ticket was purchased at ShopRite on Route 38 east in Hainesport.

Thursday’s winning numbers were 8, 15, 28, 31, 33 and 39. Two ticket holders in New Jersey matched five numbers and won $15,825 apiece.

No one had hit the jackpot for the twice-weekly New Jersey drawing since a $17.3 million ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven in Maplewood for the July 11 drawing.

Thursday’s Double Play numbers were: 4, 8 21 ,37, 40 and 46. The top prize for Monday’s drawing rolls back to $2 million with a cash option of $1 million.

The odds of a $2 ticket matching all six numbers are 9,366,819 to 1.
