Lottery ticket worth $150k sold in Cumberland County

A Powerball lottery ticket sold by a Cumberland County retailer in the March 27 drawing is worth $150,000, according to a statement from the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The Karns supermarket in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The ticket matched four of the five balls drawn, as well as the red Powerball, and would have been worth only $50,000 without the $1 Power Play option.

Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize, and should immediately sign the back of the ticket and call the Lottery to validate it.
