Saudi-Based Expatriate Becomes Second Guaranteed Millionaire Winner in Mahzooz Draw

An Indian expat living in Saudi Arabia has become the second ever guaranteed millionaire winner in the Mahzooz draw.

Pradeep, who has been living in Saudi Arabia for the past 15 years, won the jackpot on Saturday as part of Mahzooz's recent revamp of its prize structure, which now guarantees a millionaire every week.

Pradeep had only participated in Mahzooz three times, after creating his Mahzooz account in March this year on the recommendation of one of his friends in Dubai.

The father of a 21-year-old daughter, he is the second winner from Kerala, India to receive the guaranteed $270,000 (Dh 1 million) Mahzooz prize in a span of two weeks.

In a statement, Pradeep expressed his joy and gratitude for the win, stating that the money arrived just in time to make his life much easier. He plans to spend the money wisely, purchasing a house in India and using the remainder to support his close friends.

Mahzooz, a weekly lottery game, offers participants a chance to win cash prizes by selecting five numbers. The cost of entry for every game is under $10 (Dh35), and the new prize structure guarantees a millionaire winner every week.

In the same 120th Mahzooz draw, 27 other participants matched four out of five numbers and shared the second prize of $54,460, taking home approximately $2,000 each.
