Scratch off lottery ticket worth a million won by a Garland resident

One Garland resident struck big after purchasing a $20 scratch-off ticket at a local convenience store.

The Texas Lottery announced Wednesday that the anonymous person claimed a top-prize-winning ticket worth $1 million.

The individual purchased the ticket, for the game 200X Cash Blitz, at Mini Mart, 1106 Rowlett Rd.

The seven-figure ticket was the third of four top-prize tickets to be claimed in the game. It was claimed Friday. According to the Texas Lottery, the game offers more than $145 million in total prizes, with $1 million being the elusive top prize.
