Lucky Sheffield Irish Lotto winner vows to plan family holiday after becoming overnight millionaire

A lucky man from Sheffield won a whopping sum of £100,000 playing Irish Lotto's Saturday's drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased from a local Ladbrokes shop in Sheffield. The store will receive a bonus of £100 for selling the winning ticket. 

The winning numbers for Saturday's drawing were: 10, 17, 24, 27, 38, and 46. The winning ticket matched all six numbers drawn. 

Almost 40 percent of Irish adults play National Lottery games regularly, with nearly 30 percent of sales going toward good causes in the areas of sport and recreation, national culture and heritage, the arts, community health, youth welfare and amenities, and the natural environment.

Irish Lotto draws take place each Wednesday and Saturday. The minimum age to play all National Lottery games is 18.
