Someone from North Carolina won a whopping sum of $1 million in Mega Millions $494 million jackpot. 

The winning ticket was sold at the Handy Mart convenience store on U.S. 70 West in Goldsboro. The store will receive a bonus of $2000 for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket. 

The winning ticket matched the numbers on the five white balls.

The winner has 180 days to claim the prize. If you are someone who has bought lottery ticket from the same location, check your ticket!

Mega Millions is one of America's two big jackpot games, and the only one with Match 5 prizes up to $5 million (with the optional Megaplier).
